Who can use locations?
All Customer Admins can add locations.
If you want to import a large list of locations you can send us your list (including the code and name of the location) and we are happy to import this list for you. If you need to make amendments over time, we will charge our usual fee for amendments of 100 Euro per hour (excl VAT).
How can I activate the location feature?
You can see the section 'Location' at the home screen of our application. Click on the menu 'Location' and you will get to the location overview.
If you have not added a location, this overview will be empty. You can add a location via the button 'Add location' in the top right corner of the screen.
You just have to enter a code and the name of the location, that you want to add.
If you have added you first locations they will appear at the location overview. This overview shows the locations, that were last entered at the top of the page.
If you require a location link import send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org and add the list including the name of the locations and their codes.
Which impact does the location feature have?
If you have added one location into our application, the section 'Locations' appears in the team settings.
With one click at this section, all the available locations are displayed. If you do not select any specific location, all the locations will be available to the fundraisers.
You can select individual locations if you want to restrict the locations per team. You will get more information on the fundraisers' location view in the next section.
How are locations displayed to the fundraisers?
An additional dropdown will be displayed at the form. This will show all the locations that were assigned to the team.
If you haven't selected specific locations in the team settings, all the locations are displayed at this point.
The location chooser can also be separated from the form. In this setting, the fundraisers are asked to select their location after they log in.
If you have a lot of locations, and you do not want to restrict them per team, this is a good alternative.
If you are using this setting, the dropdown at the form will be deactivated and only reminds the fundraisers of their selected location.
The location can be amended via the menu at the dashboard. The menu entry 'Change location' will allow the fundraisers to return to the location screen and choose another location.
